2010 NORTH TEXAS INVITATIONAL
VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
a North Texas Power League Event
Hosted by: Skyline Juniors

College Coaches

- 16 Open, 17 Open, 17 Club, & 18 Open will all be held under one roof.

- We will provide rosters and player information for all 15s-18s to college coaches.

- College coaches will need to check-in at the tournament desk (facility TBA)

- We will provide a hospitality room for at most facilities

Tournament Information

- A hospitality room will be provide for all coaches and officials at most sites

- Trainers will be available at most sites

Facility Admission Fees

Most sites will charge a small admission fee to enter their facility for spectators only. This is not a tournament fee or a region fee.

Parking at the Tejas Facility

Sunday only, there is an Ice Hockey game and they will be charging for parking at the facility. There will be free parking across the street at Birdville High School. Saturday you may park in the facility parking lot for free.

Facility Rules

No Outside food or drinks allowed

No coolers allowed inside

No food or drinks allowed on courts

Ball handling in the hallways and lobby is prohibited

A clear pathway must be maintained throughout hallways and stairwells to comply with fire hazard standards

Coaches Meeting

There will not be a coaches meeting, but all coaches will be required to check-in, at the tournament desk, 1 hour prior to their team’s scheduled start time. We will have a tournament packet to hand to you at that time or posted.

Tournament Format

Up-Officials for every match (Click Here for a Sample Detailed Format)

· Four (4) Matches / eight (8) games guaranteed (5 matches for most teams)

· Saturday: AM/PM pool play waves

· Sunday: challenge match, then single elimination playoff bracket play (matches 2 out of 3)

· All Teams will advance to Sunday’s challenge match and bracket play

· Awards will be given for each bracket of each age division

· Schedules for Saturday’s pool play will be posted on the Skyline Juniors website prior to the tournament.
