SKYLINE BEACH CLUB

TRAINING STATUS

Skyline Beach Training is scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 1st 5-7pm at The Beach!!!. The received the necessary signatures from the city of McKinney on Friday, May 28th!!!

THINGS TO KNOW AND BRING TO PRACTICES...
- May 27-June 10 practices will be 5-7pm
- after June 11th, practices will be 4-6pm
- Registration deadlline for the May 28th tournament is 12 noon on May 28th
(if you don't have a partner, our coaches will help you find one on May 27th)
- Water will be provided on site. No outside water will be allowed inside due to the TABC laws.
- Don't forget to bring your sunscreen
- The month of May and June, parents will need to provide their own chairs/seating

After training begins, we will refund all Skyline beach members for the value
of the training from May 13th until the day we begin training. If you have any questions, please contact us at

NO TRYOUTS...SIGN UP ONLINE TO PLAY!

Skyline is dedicated to growing the sport of beach volleyball in the region and rovide the opportunity for every player to advance their skills as well as learn the strategy to the beach game. Sign up online for the Skyline Beach Program. We will accept spots on our beach program based on the number of coaches we have. Currently we will accept the first 32 athletes that sign up. More spots will probably open up once we complete the hiring process of coaches.

The first week of training we will evaluate all the athletes and split the athletes up into groups of 6-8 with a coach. If you have a partner you want to train with, we will be sure to place both athletes in the same group. If you do not have a partner, we encourage pair up with other athletes within your small group.

Season Information and Practices:
We will provide coaches for training and tournaments for members of the Skyline Beach Club. Traning will be every Tuesday and Thursday 4:00-6:00pm at The Beach and are expected to begin training Thursday, May 26, 2010 (5-7pm) and will conclude July 22, 2010
(Practices will be 5:00-7:00pm until school is out)

Cost:

$725 per Athlete

Includes: 2 practice session per week (4-hours/week).

Includes: Uniform, Volleyball

Includes: Coach ratio of 1:8 or better

Includes: Entry fees into one Beach Party Series tournament per week

Excludes: NTR membership ($15 if not indoor member) & weekend tournament entry fees

Coaches:
Skyline coaches, former players, and potential Skyline coaches.

We will guarantee that Skyline Beach Members will be accepted into the
Skyline Monday or Friday Beach Series as long as the below requirements are all met.

Requirements to be guaranteed a spot:
- Register online 2-weeks prior to the event.
- Both members of the team must be Skyline Beach Members to guarantee a spot
