The Beach Party Series is set to

The Beach at Craig Ranch facility received their tempory Certificate of Occupancy on Friday. Signup today to reserve your spot.

 
Law will not allow outside drinks on site...we will provide water other items
 
 
 

The Beach Party Series is a series of sand doubles tournaments held every Monday and Friday evenings beginning in May. It is open to everyone from College to 6th grade.  You do not have to be associated with a beach club program to participate.  Simply sign-up before 10:00am the morning of the tournament, show up and have fun!!!

This year, Skyline Beach Volleyball and the Beach Party Series is based in the brand new facility at Craig Ranch, The Beach. The Beach is the premier junior-friendly sand facility in the metroplex.

 Team Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the event start time.
Captain's meeting for all events will be 5 minutes prior to the start time. 
Play will begin promptly at the scheduled start time.

Beach Party Tournament Series Registration Instructions:

Registration Directions:
1) Click on the "Register Now" link above
2) Follow the Registration Instructions.
3) If you provide an email address, confirmation will be sent to your email
4) Sign Waiver and Medical Release Forms (one time only)
5) Be at The Beach at CR 30 minutes prior to registration start time ($20 per person)
* Please inform us of cancellations by 10am the morning of the event.
** No shows will result in both members being dropped to a lower pool in their next event.

Registration for the Beach Party Series is only done through the Skyline EventSchedule.  Click on the Registration Link above and be sure to submit the following information...

In addition to registering online, we will need a copy of the signed forms below.  We only need the below forms one-time.  You will not have to fill out these forms every time.  Players will not be allowed to participate without these forms signed off by their parents.  You my mail these forms in or give them to us at the tournament.

Q. Registration Deadline for the Beach Party Series?
A. 10:00am on the day of the event. Walk-ups will be allowed if space if available.
   
Q. How much does it cost?
A.
$20 per person
   
Q. What kind of drinks can we bring into The Beach?
A. YOU CANNOT BRING ANY FOOD OR DRINKS INTO THE BEACH.  WE WILL PROVIDE WATER AND FOOD AND BEVERAGES ARE ALSO FOR SALE ON SITE.
   
Q.

Do we have to play every Monday and Friday?
A.

No, play any date you want.  Each tournament is a separate from others.

   
Q.

What if I don't have a partner, can I still play?
A.

There must be two players on each team, but their are two things you could do.
1) We will have a spot on the website for "Players looking for a Partner".  If you provide us with your information we will post your name, age, and an email address on our website for players to contact you directly.
2) Its very probable that players will come up to the tournament without a partner.  If space is available in the tournament and there are two players with out a partner, we will put them together and let them play.
   
Q.

Can I switch partners ?
A.

Yes & No, From week to week you can switch partners.  You do not have to play with the same partner every week.  On the other hand, players WILL NOT be allowed to play on more than one team on a single Friday night.  If a partner has to leave, a player can pick up someone that has not played, but they cannot pick up a player that has already played that day
   
Q.

Is there a dress code?
A.

YES, we will strictly enforce the dress code which is...
  Uniform Bottoms, must have a fabric minimum length of 7" at the hip
  Uniform Tops, sports bras or bathing suit tops must be accompanied with a tank top or t-shirt.  Tankinis are acceptable
  Partners do not need to match.

Will food and drinks be available at The Beach?
A.

Yes, The Beach will offer full concessions.

   
   
Q.

How does the Beach Party Series work?
A.

Beginning Monday, May 17, 2010 at 6:00pm we will host a doubles sand volleyball tournament every Monday and Friday night.  The tournament will initially split by ages.  Each team will have an opportunity to advance to a higher playing level the next event by based on their previous results.
There will be a captains meeting every Friday at 5:55pm prior to play beginning at 6:00pm.
